U novoj Gucci reklamnoj kampanji konj je postao glavni lik.
Na plaži, u kuhinji, u autoperionici, u saobraćajnoj gužvi – konj je uvek tu. Brend objašnjava da je ova kampanja vežba nejasnoća, akt svakodnevnog nadrealizma, proslava paradoksalnog.
Kreativni direktor brenda Alesandro Mikele voli pomeranje granica, a ove sezone je uputio režisera Jorgosa Lantimosa da to uradi vizuelno. Nije iznenađujuće što snimanje odmah podseća na Lantimosov film “Jastog” – anti-utopiju, u kojem će se samohrani muškarci i žene, ne uspevajući da pronađu novog životnog partnera, zauvek pretvoriti u svoju omiljenu životinju.
S tim u vezi, mogli biste pomisliti da je konj možda samo osoba u novoj inkarnaciji. S druge strane, konji su simbol slobode, a Guccijeva revija sezone proleće/leto 2020. bila je posvećena snazi mode da prekrši pravila samoodređenja ličnog stila. Njihovo prisustvo na slici može da vas podseti na to. Međutim, ako posmatrate kampanju u celini, ne postoji način da se dođe do tačke i upravo je to trenutak u kojem libertarska poruka naglašava: istina i stil su u oku posmatrača.
